02Basic Unit

Control Unit
The core of the AGV Kit, includes onboard computer and control device.

Operation Switches
Power, start, and emergency stop.

Wheel Lifter
Allows lifting of drive wheels for manual cart movement.

Marker Sensor
Reads magnetic guide markers for navigation.
03Essential Options

Battery (24V)
25AH, 35AH, 65AH, or 100AH sealed batteries recommended for auto-charging.

Battery Charger
Available in AC100V and AC200V versions.

Automatic Charger (Rear Type)
Charges the battery while the AGV is in standby mode.

Automatic Charger (Side Type)
Allows charging through a side connector, enabling automatic charging even without the reverse driving function.

Magnetic Tape
For navigation and positioning markers.
04Additional Options (Function Enhancements)

Control Console
Supports multi-point stops (up to 200 stations, 200 branches) and error code display.

Obstacle Sensors (Scanner or Infrared Types)
Detect objects and stop AGV automatically.
* Difficult to detect small objects or matte black objects

Obstacle Sensor (Infrared Type)
Detects obstacles with infrared / When it gets close to an obstacle, the AGV decelerates then stops
* Difficult to detect small objects or matte black objects

Tape Bumper
Emergency stop upon contact with obstacle.
* Has dead zones at both ends

Travel Melody Unit
Plays a melody while AGV is in motion.

Pilot Lamp with Buzzer
Visual and audible operation indicators (up to 3 colors).

Optical Communication Device
For remote operation commands.
* An Onboard Center may be needed, the harness must be crimped by the customer directly

Motorized Wheel Lifter
Raises wheels with a single switch.
Optional Features
- Reverse Driving Function
- Enables reverse driving by adding two sets of driver units and an additional guidance sensor to the control unit.
- Encoder
- When using an encoder, the light-duty 30 m/min type cart can operate at a minimum speed of 1.5 m/min. By reading pulses, it improves travel speed accuracy. This feature is particularly useful for assembly or picking operations performed on a moving AGV.
- Simple Reverse Function
- Provides short-distance reverse driving capability for linear courses or large curvature paths (magnetic tape radius of 1.5 m or more). This function can be configured by adding a guide sensor without requiring an additional driver unit.
- Stopping Accuracy Upgrade
-
Enhances stopping accuracy for light-duty drive units (from ±30 mm to ±15 mm).
- This option is included as standard for heavy-duty models.
- Side Movement and Rotation Function
- Enables directional changes in narrow spaces. Requires additional installation of drive units, marker sensors, and stop sensors.
- Power Extension
- Supplies power to optional devices (24 V / 1.8 A).
- Electromagnetic Brake
- Prevents slipping on slopes or unwanted movement during load transfer. Strongly recommended for heavy loads.
- I/O Connector and Harness
-
Required for using I/O functions.
- If the customer prepares the harness independently, a dedicated crimping tool is necessary.
Safety Features
- General Notes
-
This product is a unit for building AGVs. Therefore, the final responsibility for operational safety lies with the customer.
- For reference standards, please consult the JIS guidelines (JIS D6802 Safety Rules for Automated Guided Vehicle Systems).
- Collision Prevention
-
- There is a risk of fractures or similar injuries if a person collides with the AGV driver block.
- Although the AGV is designed to stop when its bumper contacts an obstacle, in environments where it is necessary to stop before making contact, we recommend using obstacle sensors.
- As a precautionary measure, ensure that the emergency stop switch is located within easy reach at all times.
- Emergency Stop
- To reduce braking distance during an emergency stop, we recommend installing the electromagnetic brake option. This feature is included by default on heavy-duty models.
- Operation Alerts /
Travel Warnings - To indicate whether the AGV is operating, a laminated pilot lamp can be set to light up or flash. Alternatively, an audible melody can be used to signal AGV movement.
Precautions for Use
- 1. Not suitable for outdoor operation.
- 2. Avoid subjecting the vehicle to strong impacts when loading cargo.
-
3. Limit AGV operation under the following floor conditions:
- - Presence of foreign objects or oil contamination on the floor
- - Floor slope exceeding 3%
- - Severely contaminated or uneven floor surfaces
- - Asphalt-paved roads
