​The Narrow Belt Sorter (Multi-Belt Sorter) is a conveyor-based sorting system equipped with multiple narrow belts arranged horizontally in a continuous layout. It is an optimal solution for handling a wide variety of parcels, allowing the simultaneous processing of small, medium, and large packages. Unlike traditional narrow-belt sorters, where vertical narrow belts transport items and pop-up rollers or wheels positioned between belts handle the diverting function, the Multi-Belt Sorter utilizes horizontally arranged belts for continuous operation. This design makes it highly suitable for heavy and large parcels, as well as items wrapped in various types of packaging materials.

Each belt operates independently, and when a parcel reaches its designated chute, only the belt section corresponding to that chute activates, smoothly diverting the parcel. This ensures a highly stable and reliable sorting process. 

The Simba Multi-Belt Sorter is specifically designed for flexible handling of parcels in various shapes and sizes. Its greatest advantage lies in its ability to process small, medium, and large parcels simultaneously, making it ideal for mixed parcel flows. The system consists of carriers connected in a vertical loop with a fixed pitch of 200 mm. With dynamic parcel window length control based on parcel size, the sorter achieves both high flexibility and increased throughput, while also offering excellent noise control performance.
